Affordable Co-Living Housing Solutions in the Triad
"ALLEVIATING THE PAIN OF HOMELESSNESS BY OFFERING HELP, HOPE, HEALING AND HOUSING"
"ALLEVIATING THE PAIN OF HOMELESSNESS BY OFFERING HELP, HOPE, HEALING AND HOUSING"

Our mission is to prevent and end homelessness in our community through coordinated services, partnership and by providing access to safe, supportive housing. The L.I.V.E. Program provides affordable, co-living housing solutions for single adults in Greensboro, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. Offering more than shelter—we provide stability during times of transition. Our supportive housing model fosters inclusion while promoting personal growth.
Co-living housing is not a lesser option-it is a strategic housing model designated to increase affordability and sustainability. While income is required to promote shared responsibility within the program, shared housing allows clients to focus on personal growth without the risk of housing loss due to financial difficulties.
We intentionally serve individuals in recovery, justice-involved individuals, individuals with disabilities who are able to live independently, veterans and seniors. However, we welcome applications from anyone experiencing housing instability and would like the opportunity to L.I.V.E. in our program.
Through a compassionate, structured approach, the L.I.V.E. Program empowers individuals to regain stability, and work toward long-term housing.

Nicole Archie was born in Newark, New Jersey, but her family roots run deep in North Carolina—stretching through Winston-Salem, Greensboro and Fayetteville. Growing up in a poverty-stricken community, Nicole faced homelessness, and the shattering impact of addiction and mental illness within her family. Those early experiences fueled her desire to support families experiencing the same struggles. By the age of 20, Nicole had already begun working with the homeless population. Over the next two decades, she expanded her work to include individuals with disabilities, substance use disorders, mental health needs and HIV—becoming a strong advocate for vulnerable populations.
Although she was raised in New Jersey, Nicole always felt drawn to North Carolina’s warmth, culture, and sense of community. In 2022, she finally made Greensboro her home. Once here, she witnessed the growing need for supportive housing and community resources so in 2024, she founded The L.I.V.E. Program. She believes that while housing is critical, it only addresses the surface of the problem. True impact comes from resolving the personal circumstances of each homeless individual—leading them to stability.
“If I can help save the people of my community from homelessness then I have answered the calling on my life.” -Nicole
